Day 1 – Mexico City – Tuxtla – Chiapa de Corzo – San Cristóbal de las Casas
Flight (at your own expense) from Mexico City to Tuxtla Gutiérrez (in the morning).
Upon arrival, transfer to Chiapa de Corzo.
• Shared boat ride through the Sumidero Canyon and then continue to San Cristóbal de las Casas.
• Or, explore Chiapa de Corzo at your own pace, visiting lacquer workshops, the regional museum, and traditional shops.
• Enjoy the local atmosphere in the arcades of the central plaza.
In the afternoon, transfer to San Cristóbal de las Casas (1.5 hours).

Overnight in San Cristóbal de las Casas.

Day 2 – San Cristóbal de las Casas
Free day to explore this magical city your way.
Suggestions:
• Explore its historic center, cafes, craft shops, and museums
• Optional shared tour (approximately USD 60) to San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán, Tzotzil indigenous communities with a strong identity and unique traditions
• In the evening, we recommend dinner at Las Pichanchas, where Chiapas cuisine is combined with folk music and dance

Day 3 – San Cristóbal libre + autobús nocturno a Oaxaca
Last day to enjoy San Cristóbal at a leisurely pace. We recommend:
• Visit textile workshops or attend a local cultural activity
• Have lunch at the local candy and crafts market.
Evening:
• Departure on a first-class ADO GL bus to Oaxaca (9:00 PM)
• Overnight in transit (duration: approximately 9 hours)
Tip: Bring a light dinner for the trip, due to the overnight on an ADO GL bus (reclining seats, air conditioning, on-board bathroom)
Day 4 – Oaxaca
Arrival in the morning (around 6:00 AM). Store your luggage at your hotel and set out to explore the city.
Suggestions:
• Have breakfast at the 20 de Noviembre Market: traditional hot chocolate, egg bread, and tlayudas
• Visit the historic center, the Santo Domingo Temple, the Museum of Cultures, and artisan galleries
• Have coffee at Brujula, founded by singer Lila Downs

Day 5 – Oaxaca
Free day to continue exploring or take part in an optional tour (approximately USD 50 per person) that includes one of the following options:

• Mitla, a magical town with Zapotec heritage and a visit to an artisanal mezcal factory
