DAY 1. FRI / CHIHUAHUA
Meet at the Mexico City airport at the scheduled time for your flight from Mexico City to Chihuahua. Reception at the Chihuahua airport and transfer to your hotel. Afterward, we will take a walk through the city center, where we will visit the murals at the Government Palace, as well as the Cathedral, the University Cultural Center (formerly Quinta Gameros), and Pancho Villa's House, now the Museum of the Revolution (admission not included). Museums are closed on Mondays.
DAY 2. SAT / CHIHUAHUA - CREEL (CHEPE REGIONAL TRAIN)
Boxed lunch. Early departure to the train station to board the Chepe Regional Train, which departs at 6:00 a.m. for the Magical Town of Creel. Arrival at approximately 11:47 a.m. Transfer and check-in at the hotel. We will have free time for lunch and later take a walk around Creel, visiting Lake Arareko, the San Ignacio Mission, the Valley of Mushrooms and Frogs, and a Tarahumara Cave. Overnight stay.
DAY 3. SUN / CREEL - BARRANCAS DEL COBRE (CHEPE EXPRESS TRAIN)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will return to the station to board the Chepe Express Train, which departs at 8:00 a.m. for the world-famous Copper Canyon. We will arrive at approximately 9:55 a.m. and transfer directly to Barrancas Park. Upon arrival, we will have the opportunity to admire Piedra Volada and part of the Urique and Tararecua Canyons. Free time to take the cable car and zip line tour (optional, not included). If you are interested in participating in an activity, please visit https://parquebarrancas.com/ to reserve. Lunch is at your own expense. In the afternoon, we will depart for the hotel in Barrancas del Cobre just in time for a hike to the various viewpoints of the Barrancas (check schedules at reception). Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 4. MON / BARRANCAS DEL COBRE - BAHUICHIVO
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, we will depart by road for Cerocahui. Upon arrival, we will check in at the hotel and later take a tour of Cerro del Gallego , known as the "Urique Lookout." Along the way, we will see Tarahumara ranches and caves, an old church, and the spring of the Virgin. From the Cerro del Gallego Lookout, you can see the old mining town of Urique at the bottom of the canyon, as well as the river of the same name. Lunch is included at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay are included.
DAY 5. SEA / BAHUICHIVO - EL FUERTE (CHEPE EXPRESS TRAIN)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the station to board the Chepe Express train, which departs at 11:25 a.m. for the Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) of El Fuerte. Suggestion: Lunch on board the train (food not included). Arrival at ap-proximately 2:35 p.m. and transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon for a walk through this beautiful colonial town. We recommend taking the optional boat ride on the El Fuerte River, where you can observe migratory birds and petro-glyphs dating back 2,000 to 10,000 years. Approximate tour duration: 2:00 hours. Overnight stay.
DAY 6. WED / EL FUERTE - LOS MOCHIS
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until your transfer to the Los Mochis airport. We recommend a tour of the Mayo Yoreme community, where the deer dance is famous, or, if you prefer, an excursion to Topolobampo to meet the famous dolphin "Pechocho" (optional, consult prices). Your adventure concludes with your departure transfer to the airport.
