DAY 1. CHIHUAHUA
Meet at the Mexico City airport at the scheduled time for your flight from Mexico City to Chihuahua. Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Free time for a city tour (optional, not included) where you can explore the murals in the Government Palace, as well as the Cathedral, the University Cultural Center, formerly Quinta Gameros, and Pancho Villa's House, now the Museum of the Revolution (admission not included). Accommodation:
Museums are closed on Mondays.
DAY 2. CHIHUAHUA – CREEL
Breakfast at the hotel. At 8:00 a.m., we will depart for the magical town of Creel. We will pass through the apple route and enjoy a panoramic view of the Mennonite fields. We will learn about their traditions and culture. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Later, we will tour the surrounding area of Creel and visit Lake Arareko, the Mushroom and Frog Valleys, and a Tarahumara Cave. Return to the hotel and free afternoon. Overnight stay.
Note: Mennonite Fields are closed on Sundays.
DAY 3. CREEL - BARRANCAS DEL COBRE (BUS)
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, we will transfer to the bus station and board the bus that departs at 11:00 a.m. to the world-famous Copper Canyon. We will arrive at approximately 12:00 p.m. We will then go directly to Barran-cas Park, where we will admire panoramic views of Piedra Volada and Urique Canyon. Free time will be provided for the cable car and zip line tours (not included). If you are interested in participating in an activity, please visit https://parquebarrancas.com/ to reserve. In the afternoon, we will depart for our hotel just in time for a hike to the various viewpoints of the canyon (please check the hike schedule at reception). Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 4. TUE, FRI, SUN BARRANCAS DEL COBRE - EL FUERTE (CHEPE EXPRESS TRAIN)
Chepe Express departs at 9:55 a.m. for the Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) of El Fuerte. Arrival at approximately 2:35 p.m. Transfer to the hotel and free afternoon. We suggest a walk through the historic center and visit the Tem-ple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Municipal Palace, and the El Fuerte Museum, which displays artifacts used by the region's first farmers, as well as photographs of the traditions, celebrations, and daily life of the Yoreme people. We also recommend a boat ride on the El Fuerte River, where you can observe migratory birds and petroglyphs da-ting back 2 to 10,000 years. Tour duration: approximately 2:00 a.m. Free dinner and overnight stay.
Note: For various reasons, the train may be delayed.
DAY 5. THE FORT - LOS MOCHIS - TOPOLOBAMPO - LA PAZ (FERRY)
Breakfast at the hotel. A free day is recommended. We recommend taking the tour to Topolobampo Bay (optional, not included) and taking a boat ride, where if we're lucky, we might even meet the famous dolphin. The afternoon is free to enjoy Maviri Beach. Around 8:00 PM, we'll board the ferry to La Paz. We'll have a boxed lunch and spend the night aboard the ferry.
DAY 6. LA PAZ - LORETO
We will arrive in La Paz around 7:00 AM, and our representative will be waiting for us to have breakfast. Breakfast is free. At the scheduled time, transfer to the bus terminal to take the bus to Loreto (approximate arrival time is 5 hours). Arrival at the beautiful and oldest town in Baja California, Loreto, with 300 years of history, protected by the Sierra Giganta mountains and the Sea of Cortez. Arrival and check-in at your hotel, located across the street from the bus drop-off point. The remainder of the afternoon is free and you will stay overnight.
DAY 7. LORETO
Breakfast and departure for a city tour where we'll explore the church, downtown, and the beautiful boardwalk. Free time for personal activities or to take an optional trip to Coronado Island, where you can see sea lion communities and relax and marvel at a beautiful, unspoiled beach on one of the islands. The remainder of the afternoon is free, followed by overnight stay.
DAY 8 LORETO - LA PAZ
Breakfast at the hotel. At 8:30 a.m., we'll cross the street and wait for the bus to La Paz, which arrives around 9:00 a.m. Upon arrival, our guide will be waiting and will take us downtown for a city tour. The afternoon is free for personal activities. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.
DAY 9. LA PAZ
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. We suggest an excursion to Espiritu Santo Island, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its enormous biodiversity. Or, if you prefer, visit Balandra and Coromuel Beach (optional, not included). Overnight stay.
DAY 10. LA PAZ - LOS CABOS - LA PAZ
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. We suggest an excursion to Espiritu Santo Island, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its enormous biodiversity. Or, if you prefer, visit Balandra and Coromuel Beach (optional, not included). Overnight stay. After breakfast, we'll head to Los Cabos, but not before visiting the Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) of Todos Santos. This is where the Hotel California (the myth of the song "Hotel California" by The Eagles) is located. Todos Santos is a mission founded by Jesuits in 1737 with the goal of Christianizing the native Pericles, and at the same time, it is a spectacular oasis in the desert. We will continue to Los Cabos. Free lunch. In the afternoon, we will board a glass-bottom boat for a tour of Cabo San Lucas's famous rock formation called "El Arco" (The Arch), along with other attractions in the area. We will return to La Paz. Overnight stay.
DAY 11. LA PAZ - MEXICO
Breakfast and free morning until transfer to the airport for your return flight to Mexico City.
